Community Veterinary Nurse Service

The service, developed by our veterinary nurses themselves, is designed to offer compassionate and professional care for pets in the comfort of their own home.  Whether due to pet illness, temperament or transport challenges faced by their owners, our dedicated team of veterinary nurses are available to visit local homes to ensure that no pet goes without the care that they deserve.

We understand that some pets may also feel anxious in unfamiliar environments, and this service allows them to receive treatment in a setting where they feel most comfortable.  The large catchment area covers approximately 15 minutes drive in any direction from our Lindale practice.

Archway’s community vet nurse provision includes a range of services such as:

• Health checks and routine monitoring for ongoing conditions

• Administration of medications and injections as directed by one of our vets

• Post-surgery care and wound management

• Nail clipping, ear cleaning and anal gland emptying

• Guidance on nutrition.
